ROUND 1 – THE PHRASE THAT PAYS
This 24 question round has an added bonus question where the first letter from each correct answer spells out a 3 word phrase.

ROUND 3 – TRUE OR FALSE
Just answer the statements True or False - how simple is that!
1. Biscuit comes from the French for baked twice.
2. In Hectros House there was a sign saying 'No Cats Allowed'.
3. In Israel it is illegal to pick your nose on a Friday.
4. In Paris, France it is illegal to stare at the mayor.
5. In Alaska it is illegal to look at a moose from the window of a plane.

2. How many pockets are on a snooker table?
3. Talking money, how much is a monkey?
4. How many stripes are on the US flag?
5. In bingo, what number is snakes alive?
ROUND 5 - WHAT'S THE LINK
I will ask 5 questions on a range of subjects but there is a link between them all. The 6th question asks you for the link.

2. What is the Scottish name for a church?
3. Which Pakistani politician also played international cricket for his country for two decades?
4. If you gave your dog a couple of postmens legs, what have you given it?
5. In the Big Bang Theory TV show, which sci fi actor does Sheldon hate due to being snubbed at Comic Con?
6. What is the link between 1 -5?
ROUND 6 - BLOCKBUSTERS
Just like in the classic Bob Holness TV show you have to get across the board using the letter clues. In the quiz at Fazakerleys I allow 15 seconds per answer (approx 1 minute to complete the quiz) and no repeats of the questions. Can you complete the GOLDRUN?
1. AB - played Mrs Robinson in The Graduate.
2. SALT - in 1969 it was meant to stop the arms race.
3. RW - won best male solo artist in 2003.
4. MK - home of the OU.
5. TT - takes place on the Isle of Man each year
ROUND 7 - FAMILY FORTUNES
Each question has more than one answer although I want only one! In the tradition of Family Fortunes the top answer gets the most points. If you guess the top answer you get 2 points, if you give any of the other four answers, you get 1 point. If you give an answer that I do not have…NO POINTS, so be careful. Remember, only one answer is to be given for each question.
