I will keep updating the blog to let you now.
For thos enjoying the weather back in the UK you will be glad to know that we have had a spell of average weather here in Crete. Yesterday it even rained for a few minutes in Chania, missed out on that. The winds have been pretty bad over the last two days and the seas have been very rough. A bit harsh for the tourists hoping for an August heatwave. Still it will be picking up from Thursday so they can get the suntan lotion out again.
There will be more additions to the website coming soon. I will be doing a feature on the Carretta Carretta which is the loggerhead turtle that nest around the coast here on Crete. There are groups of volunteers that walk the beaches every day looking for signs of these magnificent animals.
Also I will start very soon to put links to places to stay and things to do in the local area. That way if anyone fancies a trip out here they can find some information to help them.
Well thats all for today, thanks for reading and taking the time to look at the site.
