ROUND 1 – THE PHRASE THAT PAYS
This 16 question round has an added bonus question where the first letter from each correct answer spells out a 6 word phrase.

3. What was the name of the little girl who owned Bagpuss?

ROUND 2 – MUSIC INTROS

ROUND 3 – TRUE OR FALSE
Just answer the statements True or False - how simple is that!
1. It is illegal to die in the Houses of Parliament.
2. In Arkansas a man may legally beat his wife twice a month.
3. In South Carolina it is illegal to sing out of tune.
4. In Jones Chapel, Alabama, a man may only take a woman horse riding if they have dated at least 4 times.
5. In London, it is illegal to flag down a taxi cab if you have bubonic plague.
ROUND 4 - WHAT IS THE LINK
I will ask 5 questions on a range of subjects but there is a link between them all. The 6th question asks you for the link.

2. Which Danish author wrote 'The Little Mermaid' and 'The Ugly Duckling' amongst others?
3. What was Robbie Williams first SOLO No 1 UK hit of 1998 that included the line, 'Some say that we are players, some say that we are pawns.'?

5. Which 1967 film starred Paul Newman as a convict who wins a bet by eating 50 hard boiled eggs in an hour?

ROUND 5 - BLOCKBUSTERS
Just like in the classic Bob Holness TV show you have to get across the board using the letter clues. In the quiz at Fazakerleys I allow 12 seconds per answer (1 minute to complete the quiz) and no repeats of the questions. Can you complete the GOLDRUN?

3. What is the sum of the interior angles of a triangle?
4. What is the total of half a dozen multiplied by a bakers dozen?
5. What is the number of squares on a chessboard divided by the season in a year?
ROUND 7 - FAMILY FORTUNES
Each question has more than one answer although I want only one! In the tradition of Family Fortunes the top answer gets the most points. If you guess the top answer you get 2 points, if you give any of the other four answers, you get 1 point. If you give an answer that I do not have…NO POINTS, so be careful. Remember, only one answer is to be given for each question.
